Cycling and Bikepacking
At the intersection of National Cycle Routes 8
and 42 (Cardiff-Hollyhead and Chepstow-Glasbury),
Aberllynfi House is ideally situated for cycle touring. Lockable bike storage, drying facilities and packed lunches are available, with a pub, shop, cafe and restaurant all within walking distance.
Canoeing, Kayaking and Stand Up Paddle-boarding
Aberllynfi House has private launching on the River Wye and is perfectly positioned to enjoy a gentle paddle or begin a down river trip to Hay on Wye and beyond. Guiding, Coaching and Equipment hire are all available locally.
Fishing
With private access to the banks of the Wye and Llynfi, fishing at Aberllynfi House is available exclusively to guests. Advice regarding responsible and sustainable fishing is available on the Wye & Usk Foundation website.
Hill Walking
For those who would prefer some support,
